Lab in Behavioural Insights: Applying Psychology to Public Policy

Professor Jean Liu

In this class, students have to complete a team project which is the primary activity of this course. This activity entails planning and conducting a randomised controlled trial designed to address a real-life problem within the community. Students worked in groups and produced:

  1. A proposal presentation (10% of the grade).
  2. A final presentation (involving a lunch-time session after Week 13, opened to our community partners and the college community; 15% of the course grade).
  3. A written report targeted at policy makers [worth 25% of the grade].
