Understanding Behaviour and Cognition
Professor Jean Liu
This is a class activity followed by a visit to the Trick Eye Museum , guided by a multitude of questions meant to make students engage deeply with what they see at the museum and around us. For example, students were asked why does the moon appear larger near the horizon than it does higher up in the sky? And to reflect on Mona Lisa’s painting to see if she was smiling or not. The script of the activity, including the “field trip report” component, is here.
